Prayer of Salvation
"Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and he died on the cross for my sins and rose again on the 3rd Day. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit" Amen
Scriptures for Reference (NLT)
John 3:16-18 For this is how God loved the world: He gave[a] his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.
John 4:6 - Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.
Romans 10:10 - For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.
Mark 16:6 - but the angel said, “Don’t be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth,[a] who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Look, this is where they laid his body.
Acts 16:30-31 - 30 Then he brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household.”
Titus 3:5 - He saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 2:8-9 - God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
